Dance

Dance

Dance class focuses on fitness for dancers and the dance styles of jazz dance/musical theatre, modern dance, ballet and hip hop. In each class, students develop choreography over nine weeks, which they present to the school in assembly and a dance show. Classes are offered for both beginners and advanced dancers.

Independent dance is designed around the interests of students. Whether choosing one dance style or a number of styles, students learn new moves and create choreography. Students also learn about dance through film and video, increasing their awareness about styles of dance and their own dance vocabulary.
